So a number of days ago now Apple had there usual September music event, announcing a complete new iPod lineup, the new iOS 4.1 and a sneak look into iOS 4.2 and also their in house hobby, the Apple TV. It’s late i know, but lets just do a quick recap of what went down.

With the iPhone 4 launched and stock at it’s rarest, Samsung’s Galaxy S starting to come back into stock. I thought it would be a good time to sit down and compare the to best smart phones in the market right now, the Apple iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S. So after Telstra and Optus announced their iPhone 4 pricing, along come Vodafone and Three with theirs. Vodafone will launch the handset at 5 different price points, $29, $49, $69, $79 and $99, wheereas Three will only launch with 3, $39, $49 and $79.

So it’s official. With all this talk of recalls and major issues with antenna, almost everyone I spoke to believe the iPhone 4 would be delayed and would not make the “late July” time frame. Apple have rolled out their latest iOS update – 4.0.1, it’s the first update in the iOS 4 software. It doesn’t do a great deal, it merely makes the signal bars larger on the left hand side and contains some bug fixes and improvements. What are you waiting for?
