UPDATE: Cecily in the comments has heard it will also be free on the 39 Smart Cap. this information i have yet to confirm but do find it unlikely. However it will be available on the 39 Easy Cap.

Not happy with Optus having another exclusivity period on the Galaxy S? Wanted more data? Virgin have now dropped the $10 handset repayment for the Galaxy S. Pricing seems to be effective as of the 1st of August, so if you can find the stock, hit them up.

    I contacted the Virgin stores in Hurstville & Bondi today, and they have both received notification that as of 1st August tomorrow, the $39 smart cap will come with $0 handset repayment – which is even better!

    Ohh okay.
    I will be very disappointed if it’s not free on the $39 smart cap, and will take it up with management at the Virgin stores, because I SWEAR they told me it applied to the smart cap!!
