DEXT and Backflip get their “Social” plans

With the launch of the DEXT and Backflip only a week away, Optus has come out with their social based cap plans for the two devices. Starting the 9th of April, the DEXT will be $0 on the $49 Social Cap and the Backflip $0 on the $59 Social Cap with Unlimited TXT. Along with generous data and call value, the caps also offer Unlimited Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace and anything that runs through the MotoBLUR ‘Happenings’ widget. Along with both Motorola handsets being able to jump onto these plans, iPhones can also be connected to these plans using existing pricing. With pricing like this Motorola could really get their name back into the game, rather then just relying on another colour change of the dead and beaten V3.
