Word on the street is that Samsung are prepping Android based handsets for US networks Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile for release in the first half of ’09.
” We are accelerating the development process for Google phone in order to meet the specific need of local carriers. We will be able to release Google phone in the second quarter of the next year in the US market. ” said a Samsung official.
Hopefully they can make a handset that looks a little bit better than HTC’s G1. It is rumoured it will follow the same form factor as the Omnia. Hmmmmmm…. can’t wait
